This considerably advanced mallet has milled stainless steel end plates on each end of the 10-inch  head, creating a peripherally weighted head for increased accuracy and power punctuated by a satisfying "clunk." The head itself is crafted from beautiful Indian rosewood and finished to gorgeous sheen with the grain exposed. The horizontal milling on the 8mm end plates allow extra spin and control to be imparted on the ball at impact. Halfway through the finishing process, a sycamore sighting line is implanted in the middle of the mallet head top, so you perfectly align every shot. Each mallet head is demarcated with a stamped line at 9 inches so that balls can be brought in 9 inches from the side line.

An extra-long mallet head provides superior balance while redistributing more mass to the strike faces when the ball is truck. This helps keep the head stable and shots accurate during rushes, long roquets, and hitting in.

The Evolution is outfitted with an incredibly lightweight and unbelievably strong carbon and fiberglass shaft, foam-filled to reduce troubling vibrations. It's wrapped in EVA foam, a closed-cell material that's waterproof and imminently comfortable to grip. The hand grip section has been shaped to a traditional octagonal design measuring 31mm x 27mm. It weighs only 10 oz., leaving the integrity of the specially weighted head intact. The total mallet weight is 3 lbs.
