Wood Mallets Original Croquet Mallet with Deluxe Mallet Cover

Designed by former World Champion Joe Hogan, the Wood Mallets Original Croquet Mallet with Deluxe Mallet Cover is the UK Croquet Association's best-selling croquet mallet. The head is made from sustainably managed Malaysian Quila hardwood, a highly stable and extremely dense hardwood that finishes with beautiful color and grain. After being processed and air dried, and inlaid sighting line and Phenolic Tufnol face places are added to the mallet head. Tufnol is a 6mm resin-impregnated cloth material that's bonded to the mallet surface for a smooth, hard, and virtually unbreakable hitting surface. Lead weights are inserted on the underside of the mallet head and sealed with Quila dowels to achieve a perfectly balanced end weight.

Extending upward from this state-of-the-art mallet head is a handle crafted from select clear American white ash. The lower part of the handle is turned to a smooth round by a copy lath, while the handle area is hand-shaped into a traditional octagon. The 25mm x 30mm grip area has been wrapped in grippy, smooth, comfortable blue split leather for an incomparable feel and a classic look.
