Overall a good set for the price. I shopped around this was the best set I found for the price. The wood is much better then other sets I found. The main downside of the set is that the mallet shafts don't screw into the heads that well. All I did was put a screw through the bottom of the head into the shaft and that did the trick. I am very pleased with this product. I used and returned other sets before I found this one.

Recieved set yesterday, and unpacked this morning. At first inspection, finish quality is definatley lacking. Paint job on mallets looks like a five year old painted it, colors are not as vibrant as pictured - paint is thin, streaky and messy. Mallets went together well, and seem solid. The carrying case however, is in a word, unusable. After assembly, the mallets do not even fit into the flimsy, poorly constructed bag. I am not about to un-screw the mallets every time I pack up the set, as I have no desire to strip the threads....so the bag is a waste. Have not yet played with this set, but hopefully, the fun of the game will outweight the disappointment over quality of finish, and the unusable bag.

Useless, cheep, tiny bag requires that you take the heads off the handels each time you put it away - leading to the handels becoming loose on the heads.
