Haven't had time for a game yet, but these horseshoes are the real deal. These are like the ones my great-grandfather and great-uncles used in their family reunion games that I watched as a small girl. They are certainly strong, well-designed and durable enough to use for tournaments. I should be able to pass these along as a 'family heirloom' to my Grandson.

The only complaint I have about this set is that after just a few games, it became nearly impossible to tell the two colors apart. We ended up painting one set so we could tell the difference.
